Casual and easygoing sightseeing abounds in an around the destination you visit, whether in kathmandu. , Pokhara, Tansen, Chitwan or any other destination. Hindu temples and shrines, Buddhist monasteries and retreats, ancient royal palace complexes, hill resorts in and around your destination are aplenty. Sightseeing goes together with short easy treks, swimming in lakes and rivers, fishing, angling, picnicking and other natural activities.

POKHARA
About Pokhara valley Pokhara is one of the interesting places of Nepal. Occupies the central location in Nepal and is dominated by the peaks of Annapurna range. its unique setting may be judged from the fact that the town pf Pokhara (913m) is only fifty kilometers from Annapurana 1(8091m), clearly seen from the valley. There is a decline of six thousand meters in altitude within a short distance of only twenty nine kilometers. Thus the region provides a dramatic contrast in landscape. There are lakes and many interesting sights and people go for mini treks to explore Pokhara.

NAGARKOT
Nagarkot is located 32km east of Kathmandu, is one of the most scenic spots in Bhaktapur district and its renowned for its spectacular sunrise when the weather is clear. Visitor often travel to Nagarkot from Kathmandu to spend the night there. This place is also very famous for sunset and sunrise.

The mystical Kathmandu Valley is spread at an average altitude of 1,350 meters above sea level, and covers an area of 218sq.miles. The rich culture heritage of Nepal is synthesized in the Kathmandu Valley, the stronghold of the ancient and sophisticated Newar nation. The Newars are the indigenous inhabitant's of the Valley, and the creators of the splendid civilization of its three cities Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur and their many satellite settlement.

The artistically built Hindu temples and shrines, Buddhist monasteries and chaitya-s, resting places, intricate water conduits and canal systems, fabulous palace complexes, delicately engraved stone, terracotta and metal images, meticulously carved wooden columns and pillars all testify to the artistic achievements of the Newars of Kathmandu.

Swayambhu Nath
This is one of the worlds most glorious Buddhist Stupa-s or Chaitya-s. It is over 2,000 years old. Painted on the four sides of the spire's base are the all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. It is 3 km west of Kathmandu City and is situated on a hillock about 77m above the level of the Kathmandu Valley and hence commands an excellent view of the Valley. This is one of the oldest temples in Nepal.

Pashupati Nath Temple
Situated 5 KM east of Kathmandu, It is name the Temple of Lord Shiva, or Pashupati Nath Temple with two tiered golden roofs and silver door, is one of the holiest shrines in Nepal and the Hindu world, Although only Hindus are allowed inside the Temple but the visitors can clearly see the temple from the eastern bank of Bagmati River.

Boudhanath
The Stupa of Boudhanath lies 8 Km east of Kathmandu, This ancient colossal Stupa is one of the Biggest in the World and is and important centre of Buddhism in the world.

Bhaktapur
It is situated at altitude of 1,411 m Bhakatapur covers an area of four square miles. Bhaktapur, meaning "City of Devotees" still preserves its ancient charms. Bhaktapur is also famous for woodcarving and the Bhadgaonle topi or Bhadgon cap. The Golden gate is the entrance to the main courtyard of the place of 55 windows built by King Ranjit Mallla. The main square of the city contains innumerable temples and other architectural showpieces.
